Marketing Executive Jobs in Mississippi: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing executive in Mississippi?
The most direct path is a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or communications followed by progressive roles in marketing coordination, brand management, or digital strategy. Mississippi has no state-issued license for marketing executives, so hiring decisions rest on portfolio strength and leadership experience. Many candidates build their credentials through roles at Mississippi-based healthcare systems, financial institutions, or regional manufacturers before moving into executive-level positions.
How much do marketing executives make in Mississippi?
Marketing executives in Mississippi earn a median of about $100,940 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,790 for the lowest 10% to over $209,090 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing executives in Mississippi?
Employers hiring marketing executives in Mississippi right now include AnderCorp, CVS Health, and Sprint Mart, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Mississippi's dominant hiring industries for this role are healthcare, banking, and agribusiness, meaning employers in those sectors post the most consistent executive-level marketing openings.
Which Mississippi cities have the most marketing executive jobs?
Jackson, Oxford, and Tupelo have the most marketing executive openings in Mississippi. Jackson anchors the market as the state capital and home to major healthcare systems, state agencies, and financial institutions, while Gulfport and the Gulf Coast corridor attract openings driven by hospitality, gaming, and regional retail employers.
Are there remote marketing executive jobs in Mississippi?
Yes, and marketing executive roles are relatively well suited to remote work given the desk-based, strategic nature of the position. About 25% of marketing executive openings tied to Mississippi are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting a broader industry trend toward flexible arrangements. Strategy, content, and digital performance roles are the most frequently offered remotely, while brand partnerships and community-facing roles typically require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a marketing executive in Mississippi with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a marketing coordinator or communications specialist role at a Mississippi healthcare network, regional bank, or mid-size manufacturer, then building toward management over several years. Large Mississippi employers such as Baptist Health Systems and Regions Bank hire new graduates into rotational or coordinator programs. A portfolio demonstrating measurable campaign results and a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification gives candidates a meaningful edge when competing against more experienced applicants.
Where can I find and apply to marketing executive jobs in Mississippi?
You can find and apply to marketing executive jobs in Mississippi on Migrate Mate, which lists current Mississippi openings updated regularly. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level and preferred location, then apply directly to each opening that fits.
