Job Title: Social Media Content Creator & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time
Full job description:
Summers Quality Services, a busy home services company in Philadelphia, is looking for a creative, self-motivated Social Media Content Creator to help tell our story. You'll split your time between our shop and active job sites, capturing real moments — technicians at work, before/after shots, customer interactions, team culture — and turning them into content that connects with our audience.
If you're someone who's plugged into what's trending and can spot what's about to go viral before everyone else does, we want your ideas. This role is great for a student or anyone looking for flexible part-time work with real creative freedom.
What you'll do:
- Travel to job sites and our shop to film short-form video content (techs on the job, install/repair highlights, team moments)
- Come up with fresh content ideas and adapt trending formats/sounds to fit our brand
- Capture photos for reviews, testimonials, and general marketing use
- Write engaging captions and help manage posting schedules
- Coordinate with technicians and managers to plan filming around job timing
- Edit your own footage if you'd like — editing is optional, not required (raw footage can be handed off if you prefer)
What we're looking for:
- Comfortable filming on a smartphone
- Genuinely online — you know what's trending and can spot what's about to take off
- A good eye for storytelling and social-first content
- Reliable transportation — this role involves traveling to job sites around the Philadelphia area
- Comfortable talking to technicians and customers on-site
- No formal experience required — we care more about your instincts than a resume
What you get:
- $17–$19/hr, part-time, flexible schedule
- Creative ownership over how our story gets told
- Optional editing opportunity if you want to build that skill
- A fun, low-pressure environment with real work to film (not staged corporate content)
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule

Who's Hiring

Marketing Jobs in Philadelphia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a marketing job in Philadelphia?
Focus your search on Philadelphia's dominant hiring sectors: health systems, universities, financial services firms, and consumer packaged goods companies. Center City and University City hold the heaviest concentration of openings. Candidates who stand out locally tend to combine digital marketing skills with experience in regulated industries like healthcare or finance, since those employers make up a significant share of the Philadelphia market.
Which companies hire marketings in Philadelphia?
Employers hiring marketings in Philadelphia right now include EAB, CELLA, and Aramark, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Philadelphia's hiring base skews toward large health systems, regional banks, universities, and established consumer brands with long local roots.
Are there remote marketing jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: content, digital, and analytics-focused marketing positions are frequently remote, while event, field, and retail marketing roles typically require on-site presence. About 88% of marketing openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting broader flexibility in desk-based marketing work. Digital and demand generation roles see the highest remote rates among Philadelphia postings.
How can I get a marketing job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Philadelphia is through the city's large university and nonprofit sectors, which regularly hire marketing coordinators and communications assistants at junior levels. Health systems like Jefferson and Penn Medicine also recruit entry-level marketing associates. Building experience with local event promotions, alumni networks at Philadelphia-area universities, or internships with regional consumer brands gives candidates a concrete edge in a market that values local familiarity.
