What You’ll Do
- Provide Clinical Care: Deliver evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling services tailored to mental health, co-occurring and substance abuse clients.
- Assess & Plan: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and construct individualized treatment plans.
- Coordinate Case Management: Assist clients with referral services, resource navigation, and robust aftercare/discharge planning to ensure long-term recovery success.
- Document Progress: Maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation reflecting client progress and intervention strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- Licensure: Must possess an active Maryland Board license, certificate, or official Board-issued Trainee Letter.
- Experience: Two years of experience providing counseling in mental health or substance use settings is preferred (but we welcome driven newer professionals).
- Core Competencies: Strong clinical boundaries, a deep understanding of dual-diagnosis dynamics, and excellent crisis intervention skills.
Eligible Credentials & Licenses
We strongly encourage the following Maryland-credentialed professionals to apply:
- Mental Health Track: LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC
- Substance Abuse Track: LCADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADT (Alcohol and Drug Counselor Trainee status approved by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists)
