What You’ll Do:
Develop Advanced Skills: Learn to deliver complex inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
Work as a Team: Collaborate alongside experienced hospital teams and DaVita clinical mentors who are invested in your growth.
Master Patient Care: Monitor patients, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes in high-acuity settings.
Lead with Confidence: Learn to support and oversee patient care with the help of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
Embrace the Pace: Build confidence and adaptability in a dynamic hospital environment where no two days are the same.
What to Expect:
Comprehensive Paid Training: No prior nursing or dialysis experience is required! We provide a robust, hands-on training program designed specifically to support your transition from the classroom to clinical practice.
Broad Clinical Exposure: Work in a variety of hospital units and rotate between local facilities to maximize your learning.
Dynamic Scheduling: Schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays. Daily schedules change based on patient needs, offering a dynamic work environment.
Requirements:
Current RN license in the state of practice (or recently graduated and preparing to take the NCLEX).
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
A strong desire to learn, grow, and thrive in an acute care setting.
Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available).
