Job Summary
Looking for an Occupational Therapist for 15-20 hours a week working with kids with autism. The hours are flexible between 8AM and 4PM Monday-Friday.
Duties
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and use anatomy and physiology knowledge to guide evidence-based care plans and treatment plan development.
- Provide patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), physical rehabilitation, and implementation of occupational therapy programs.
- Adapt pediatric occupational therapy and early intervention approaches for children, including students with disabilities, special education needs, autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and SLP to all work together on treatment plans and goals.
- Maintain medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR), applying medical terminology and clinical documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Required: Occupational therapy education and licensure or other credentials required for practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational therapy, evidence-based practice, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other neurodevelopmental disorders is valued; school, pediatric, or early intervention experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with care plans, treatment plan development, case management, ADLs, medical documentation, and EHR management.
Pay: From $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
