Job Summary:

Essential Functions:
- Patient Care:Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

- Ensure patient comfort by adjusting beds, turning patients, and providing adequate hydration and nourishment.
- Medical Assistance:Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Collect specimens for lab tests as directed.
- Observation and Reporting:Monitor and document patient condition and care provided in medical records.
- Report any changes in patient status or behavior to the nursing staff promptly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Environmental Maintenance:Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure patient rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and linens.
- Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in training and continuing education programs to stay current with best practices in patient care.

- License / Certification:Driver’s license and proof of current auto liability insurance; no listing in the OIG Excluded Provider listing
- Has successfully completed one of the following:Training program/competency eval as specified in §418.76 (b) (c) of the Medicare regulations.

- Nurse Aide training/competency eval program approved by the state and listed in good
