Job Description:
Meade is seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Executive to serve as Meade's primary relationship and revenue driver in the mission critical market. This is a pure business development role responsible for building and managing a pipeline with data center owners, land developers, and hyperscale operators, and converting those relationships into contracted work across Meade's full-service platform: MEP design, commissioning, power systems, and fire protection.
The Strategic Partner Executive will own a defined territory or named account set, maintain active relationships with ICPs at the VP level and above, and carry revenue targets across both net-new and expansion accounts. This role is expected to be in market, in front of decision-makers, and closing.
Meade has invested in a dedicated pursuit and marketing function; CRM-driven pipeline infrastructure, account-based marketing, proposal coordination, and outbound capability built around the mission critical buyer. When an opportunity is identified, the support teams are built to move quickly.
Job Duties:
Pipeline Development
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities across data center owners, land developers, and hyperscale accounts in your assigned market.
- Build and prioritize a pipeline across Meade's full service platform based on probability, fit, and strategic value.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting in CRM. Work qualified leads sourced through marketing and BDR functions.
Relationship Management
- Own relationships with key ICPs; VP of Design Engineering, VP of Construction, Director of Critical Facilities, and procurement leads at target accounts.
- Maintain active engagement with existing Meade clients to protect and grow wallet share.
- Represent Meade at industry events and trade organizations relevant to the mission critical market.
Pursuit and Close
- Lead qualification and go/no-go decisions in coordination with Meade leadership.
- Drive pursuit strategy; positioning, messaging, resource decisions, competitive differentiation through to proposal submission and contract execution. Negotiate fee structures, scope, and contract terms.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, commissioning, and power practice leads to develop client-specific value propositions and technical narratives.
- Bring market intelligence on client priorities and competitive dynamics back into the firm.
- Participate in account planning and monthly key account reviews with the Executive Leadership Team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of business development or sales experience in AEC, engineering services, or mission critical infrastructure.
- Demonstrated track record closing six- and seven-figure professional services contracts with data center owners, hyperscalers, or colocation operators.
- Existing relationships at the VP level or above with ICPs in the data center development or operations ecosystem.
- Deep familiarity with the mission critical project lifecycle from land acquisition through design, construction, and commissioning.
- Ability to credibly represent technical services across MEP design, commissioning, power, and fire protection without being a licensed engineer.
- Self-directed, high-output operator who manages their own time, territory, and pipeline independently.
- Disciplined CRM pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing network within hyperscale development teams (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta) or major wholesale colocation platforms
- Experience selling across a multi-service engineering platform
- Familiarity with data center power infrastructure, substation design, or utility interconnection
- Background in or working knowledge of commissioning processes (Cx, IEx, Bx)

Partner Executive Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partner executive in Texas?
Becoming a partner executive in Texas typically begins with a bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or a closely related discipline, followed by progressive experience in account management, consulting, or business development. Texas does not require a state-issued license for this role, but large employers in sectors like financial services or healthcare consulting often expect familiarity with industry-specific frameworks. Building a portfolio of client wins and internal promotions through Texas-based firms is the most common path to a partner executive title.
Which companies hire partner executives in Texas?
Employers hiring partner executives in Texas right now include Gartner, Baker Tilly, and Vizient, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major consulting offices means ongoing demand from both large professional services firms and enterprise technology companies with regional operations in the state.
Which Texas cities have the most partner executive jobs?
Texas, Dallas, and Frisco are the Texas cities with the most partner executive openings. Dallas and Houston drive the bulk of demand because of their dense concentrations of corporate headquarters, financial institutions, and professional services firms, while Austin's expanding technology sector has steadily increased its share of partner executive roles over recent years.
Are there remote partner executive jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than many comparable roles, given that partner executive work centers on relationship management and strategic oversight that can often happen virtually. About 86% of partner executive openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting flexibility that many Texas employers now build into senior client-facing positions. Business development and alliance management functions tend to be the most remote-eligible segments of the role.
How can I get hired as a partner executive in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an account coordinator, business development associate, or client success role at a Texas-based consulting or technology firm, where internal promotion to partner executive is common. Large Texas employers like KPMG, Accenture, and Dell Technologies run structured associate and rotational programs that place early-career candidates on a direct track toward partner-level responsibilities. Earning a Certified Business Development Professional credential or completing a Texas MBA program at UT Austin or Rice University can strengthen a candidacy ahead of internal promotion cycles.
