The opportunity
You will own PLM’s content strategy and organic social growth, reporting directly to the owner.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll develop ideas, write hooks and scripts, direct production, manage publishing, and use performance data to improve results.
You’ll work with our on-site videographer at our South San Francisco facility, who captures product footage, installations, vehicle builds, exhaust sounds, and dyno sessions. You’ll provide clear creative direction and turn that footage into effective content.
What you’ll own
- Build and manage a content calendar across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Develop content around product launches, customer questions, installations, comparisons, performance testing, and customer builds.
- Write hooks, scripts, shot lists, captions, titles, thumbnails, and calls to action.
- Direct our videographer and coordinate production from initial brief through final approval.
- Personally contribute to editing, repurposing, publishing, and community engagement.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Test topics, formats, openings, and storytelling approaches.
- Connect content priorities to available inventory, promotional campaigns, and business goals.
- Report weekly on results, lessons learned, and the next actions you recommend.
