Georgia has no state-issued license specific to this role. Employers in Atlanta's technology and consumer goods sectors typically look for candidates who have completed internships or project-based work, hold certifications like Certified Associate in Project Management or Agile-related credentials, and can demonstrate hands-on experience with product or analytical tools.
Which companies hire product associates in Georgia?

Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and high-growth technology companies in the Atlanta metro makes it one of the more active states for product associate hiring in the Southeast.
Which Georgia cities have the most product associate jobs?
Atlanta, Buford, and Lawrenceville account for the most product associate openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it anchors the state's technology, financial services, and consumer goods industries, while Savannah's expanding logistics and e-commerce operations and Columbus's financial services employers generate consistent demand outside the main metro.
Are there remote product associate jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and they're more common than in many fields because product associate work is largely analytical and collaborative rather than hands-on. About 43% of product associate openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly companies have adopted flexible arrangements for product roles. Responsibilities like backlog management, data analysis, and stakeholder communication are especially well-suited to remote work.
