JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Forum Manager, manages volunteers and event crew, for events, meetings, activities and expo’s. Provides walk throughs, estimates for services and contracts to clients for business at the Forum River Center. Assist with all aspects of Forum Operation as it relates to customer service, catering, design and décor, food and beverage. Acts as the ambassador in all aspects of the department, also an ambassador for the City of Rome and Floyd County.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Possesses knowledge of food and beverage business, hospitality service expectations, and managing contracts.
· Knowledge of Event Orchestration and coordination.
· Knowledge of open and close out cash/square register procedures.
· Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
· Ability to work independently and make decisions.
· Ability to accept new challenges and changes.
· Outgoing personality with an ability to make others feel comfortable.
· Displays willingness to seek information from a multitude of sources.
· Poised, diplomatic and tactful.
· Presents a neat, tasteful appearance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent; some college helpful; supplemented by one to two years’ experience in sales and cash handling.
· Must possess and maintain a valid Class C Georgia Motor Vehicle license in the state of residency and a vehicle and applicable insurance for local travel. Cost of travel will be reimbursed at a rate adopted by the Rome City Commission.
· Must obtain National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100 and 700 within three (3) months of employment.
Pay: $23.42 - $24.00 per hour
