Customer Insights Analyst Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer insights analyst in Georgia?
Most Georgia employers hire customer insights analysts with a bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, business analytics, or a related field. No state-issued license is required for this role in Georgia. Candidates who build hands-on experience with Qualtrics, Tableau, or SQL before applying stand out, and certifications from professional bodies like the Insights Association carry real weight with Atlanta-area employers in retail, financial services, and healthcare.
How much do customer insights analysts make in Georgia?
Customer insights analysts in Georgia earn a median of about $75,850 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $37,700 for the lowest 10% to over $148,910 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire customer insights analysts in Georgia?
Employers hiring customer insights analysts in Georgia right now include McKinsey & Company, Lightera, and SquareTrade, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of major retail headquarters and financial services firms means many of these teams are large, ongoing analytics operations rather than one-off contract roles.
Which Georgia cities have the most customer insights analyst jobs?
Atlanta, Norcross, and Thomasville have the most customer insights analyst openings in Georgia. Atlanta's dominance reflects its role as a headquarters city for major retailers, fintech firms, and healthcare systems, while Alpharetta's dense corridor of technology and financial companies drives suburban demand, and Savannah's growing logistics and hospitality sectors support a smaller but active market for consumer research roles.
Are there remote customer insights analyst jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Customer insights work is highly desk-based and data-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 100% of customer insights analyst openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly Georgia employers have embraced flexible work for analytics roles. Survey design, data analysis, and report delivery are the functions most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a customer insights analyst in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a marketing research assistant or junior analyst role at one of Atlanta's large retail or financial services employers, where teams regularly onboard candidates fresh from university. Georgia Tech, University of Georgia, and Georgia State all have analytics and market research programs whose graduates enter rotational or associate analyst tracks at companies like The Home Depot and NCR Voyix. Building a portfolio of independent survey projects or completing a Qualtrics certification strengthens applications significantly for candidates without direct work history.
