The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill two Program and Policy Analyst Advanced positions with the Division of Juvenile Corrections. These positions can be located at the DOC central office in Madison, the Southeast Regional Office in Wauwatosa, or the Northwest Regional Office in Wausau.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for a wide range of policy analysis; procedure creation and documentation; program and process evaluation that may result in project planning, facilitation, management, and implementation; data reporting and analysis; and a wide-breadth of quality assurance efforts for DJC programs and systems. This position works with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership and staff from all DJC facilities/offices and counterparts throughout many divisions across the Department of Corrections (DOC).
Salary Information
This position is in pay schedule and range 07-03 with a starting pay of $34.90/hour to $46.49/hour. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

Qualifications
Minimally qualified applicants will have experience in the following:
Program and/or electronic system evaluation to determine efficiency, make process recommendations, and aid in implementing change
Analysis on multifaceted data sets for record integrity, continuous quality improvement reporting, or construction of written reports to share with stakeholders
Editing or interpreting legally or operative binding documents (i.e., state statutes, administrative directives, policies, procedures)
In addition to the above, well-qualified applicants will have experience:
Working across multiple operational disciplines to coordinate and execute all stages of project management from research and documentation to training and implantation
Conducting research, analyzing outcomes, and using the conclusions to develop recommendations and write new or revised policies and/or procedures
