Position Summary
As a Senior Analyst within the Pharmacy Services Finance Intelligence (FI) organization, you will serve as the primary owner of assigned project requests from intake through delivery support. This role partners with stakeholders to understand business challenges, document current-state processes, define requirements, and ensure work meets established delivery readiness standards before development begins.
As a Business & Project Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex business needs into actionable requirements while partnering closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, engineering teams, analytics developers, and leadership. You will own the discovery process, drive business alignment, facilitate project governance, and ensure initiatives are sufficiently defined before development begins.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, consultative communication, business process analysis, and the ability to guide stakeholders toward the right solution—not simply document requested features. This position is expected to operate as a trusted business partner responsible for improving delivery quality, reducing ambiguity, and enabling predictable execution across the FI portfolio.

Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to understand objectives, pain points, and desired outcomes.
Document current-state processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
Identify business rules, dependencies, assumptions, and operational impacts.
Challenge unclear requirements and seek clarification when business needs are not well defined.
Ensure project requests meet intake and readiness standards before development engagement.
Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) using the team's standardized framework.
Maintain traceability between requirements and delivered solutions.
Own requirement quality and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
Partner with technical teams to clarify requirements before development begins.
Project Delivery Support
Serve as the primary delivery lead for assigned initiatives from intake through production support.
Facilitate project checkpoints, stakeholder reviews, and decision-making sessions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, architects, QA, and analytics resources.
Monitor project scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and action items.
Escalate delivery risks appropriately and propose mitigation strategies.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, production readiness, and business sign-off.
Maintain accurate project documentation within Jira and Confluence.
Drive accountability for assigned action items through project completion.
Stakeholder Partnership & Consulting
Build trusted relationships with Finance, Operations, Analytics Engineering, Solution Architecture, and business leaders.
Facilitate alignment across multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities.
Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and decisions to leadership.
Promote transparency, accountability, and predictable delivery across all assigned initiatives.
Success Measures
Success in this role will be measured by:
Delivery of high-quality, development-ready requirements with minimal rework and serve as the source of truth.
Strong stakeholder satisfaction and partnership.
Effective management of project risks, scope, and dependencies.
Timely completion of projects aligned to established governance checkpoints.

Project Consultant Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a project consultant in Georgia?
Most project consultants in Georgia enter the field with a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or information technology, then build toward the Project Management Professional certification through the Project Management Institute, which is the credential Georgia employers most consistently require. Georgia does not issue a state-specific license for project consultants, so the hiring path runs through demonstrated consulting experience and recognized certifications rather than a state board. Starting in an analyst, coordinator, or junior associate role at one of Atlanta's large consulting firms or corporate IT departments is the most direct path in.
Which companies hire project consultants in Georgia?
Georgia project consultant roles are posted by ADP, CVS Health, and Salas O'Brien and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Atlanta's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, federal contractors, and large healthcare systems means openings appear consistently across industries throughout the year.
Which Georgia cities have the most project consultant jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Augusta lead Georgia in project consultant openings. Atlanta dominates because of its dense cluster of corporate headquarters, major consulting firm offices, and state government contracts, while Savannah's port-driven logistics growth and Augusta's federal presence at Fort Eisenhower have made both cities steady secondary markets for project consultants.
Are there remote project consultant jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and they are more common than in most fields. About 100% of project consultant openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves analysis, reporting, and client communication rather than on-site delivery. Strategy, IT advisory, and program management roles tend to carry the most remote flexibility, while construction and infrastructure consulting typically requires regular site presence.
How can I get hired as a project consultant in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a junior analyst or associate consultant role at one of Atlanta's mid-size consulting firms or the consulting arms of large employers like Accenture or Deloitte, both of which run structured analyst programs that accept recent graduates. Georgia Tech and Georgia State graduates often move into associate roles directly from campus recruiting pipelines. Candidates without formal experience strengthen their candidacy by completing a CAPM certification through the Project Management Institute and building a portfolio of process improvement or organizational projects, even from academic or volunteer work.
Where can I find and apply to project consultant jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to project consultant jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across industries and experience levels. Search the listings to find roles that match your background and apply directly to the ones that fit.
