This person partners closely with the QA/UAT Manager and Business Solutions team to support and continuously improve the testing strategy for user testing within Asset Services (and other service lines, as needed).
Job Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and continuously improve QA/UAT standards, methodologies, and documentation practices to ensure consistent, repeatable testing outcomes across projects and service lines.
- Serve as a senior resource and mentor to QA/UAT team members by providing guidance on test strategy, test design, and execution, and by reviewing testing artifacts to ensure alignment with established QA/UAT standards.

- Develop deep knowledge of supported business systems and processes in order to proactively identify testing risks, improve test coverage, and recommend enhancements to QA/UAT practices.
- Lead or support the end-to-end QA/UAT life cycle for complex initiatives, including test planning, test case development, execution coordination, defect management, and reporting of testing status and risk to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with technical leads and resource managers to align testing scope, environments, and timelines, and to ensure timely resolution of testing issues that may impact delivery.
- Independently manage QA/UAT activities for complex, high-risk, or cross-functional initiatives by defining test strategies, coordinating testing efforts across teams, and providing clear recommendations on release readiness.
Qualifications
- Apply QA/UAT best practices to design and execute test plans and test cases, manage defects, and communicate testing status and risk in support of timely, high‑quality releases.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the software development life cycle, with the ability to adapt testing approaches to waterfall, agile, or hybrid delivery models.
- Use test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Test Lodge) to document testing efforts, track defects, analyze trends, and support data‑driven release decisions.
- Independently assess scope, complexity, and risk for assigned initiatives and adjust testing strategy accordingly.
- Identify testing gaps and quality risks early, escalating issues with clear recommendations to limit downstream impacts.
- Leverage advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills to analyze data, summarize results, and produce clear, consumable reporting for stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences, translating testing results into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrate senior‑level interpersonal and facilitation skills to align stakeholders on priorities, risks, and release readiness.
- Mentor and guide QA/UAT team members by sharing expertise, reviewing testing artifacts, and reinforcing standards and best practices.
- 5+ years of software application, QA/UAT, or closely related experience, with increasing responsibility for complex or high‑risk initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
