● Maintain organized, audit-ready records for QC data, batch tickets, and label files.
● Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized production and lab environment.
● Take on other quality and manufacturing support tasks as they come up — this role covers real variety.
What We're Looking For
● Highly detail-oriented, with strong, consistent record-keeping habits.
● Comfortable with precise, repeatable tasks like label printing and QC testing.
● Some QA/QC experience is an asset — not required, but a plus.
● Solid basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets).
● Clear communicator, able to work well across production, quality, and customer service.
● High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or experience in chemistry, quality, or manufacturing is a plus.

Quality Assurance Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a quality assurance manager in Florida?
Most quality assurance managers in Florida start with a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field, then build experience in QA roles within regulated industries like aerospace, medical devices, or food manufacturing. Florida does not require a state license for this role, but professional certification through the American Society for Quality, such as the Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer designation, significantly strengthens a candidacy. Employers in Florida's defense and medical corridors prioritize hands-on experience with FDA, FAA, or ISO compliance systems.
How much do quality assurance managers make in Florida?
Quality assurance managers in Florida earn a median of about $119,870 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $66,250 for the lowest 10% to over $212,910 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire quality assurance managers in Florida?
Employers hiring quality assurance managers in Florida right now include Publix, Argo Turboserve Corporation, and Cardinal Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of aerospace contractors along the Space Coast and pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Miami and Tampa corridors means large, established employers with continuous quality management hiring cycles are well represented.
Which Florida cities have the most quality assurance manager jobs?
Orlando, Jacksonville, and Miami have the most quality assurance manager openings in Florida. Tampa Bay's dense cluster of medical device, defense, and food manufacturing companies drives the bulk of demand, while Miami's pharmaceutical and logistics sectors anchor South Florida hiring, and Orlando's aerospace and simulation industries, including major contractors near Kennedy Space Center, add a steady concentration of roles in Brevard and Orange counties.
Are there remote quality assurance manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, but they are limited. Quality assurance manager work is largely hands-on, requiring physical presence on production floors, in laboratories, or during supplier audits, so fully remote roles are uncommon in this field. About 20% of quality assurance manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and the positions that do allow remote work tend to concentrate in quality systems documentation, supplier quality oversight, and compliance program management rather than direct manufacturing oversight.
How can I get hired as a quality assurance manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a quality assurance manager role from a QA technician, QA engineer, or quality inspector position within a regulated Florida industry. Large manufacturers such as Lockheed Martin in Marietta and Alachua, or medical device companies along the I-4 corridor, regularly hire quality coordinators and junior quality engineers as stepping stones. Earning an ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate credential before applying signals seriousness to Florida hiring managers. Community colleges such as Valencia College and Hillsborough Community College also offer quality management coursework that builds foundational knowledge for candidates transitioning from adjacent technical roles.
Where can I find and apply to quality assurance manager jobs in Florida?
