Who's Hiring

Regional Account Manager Jobs in Houston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a regional account manager job in Houston?
The strongest path into a regional account manager role in Houston is through the city's dominant industries: energy services, oilfield equipment, healthcare systems, and industrial distribution. Employers in the Energy Corridor and Greenway Plaza corridor tend to value candidates with existing relationships in those verticals. A background in outside B2B sales, demonstrated quota attainment, and familiarity with the Gulf Coast market gives candidates a clear edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire regional account managers in Houston?
Houston regional account manager roles are posted by NOV, Koch, and Bayer and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Houston's hiring pool includes large energy services firms, national healthcare distributors, and mid-size industrial and logistics companies with regional headquarters or major operations in the metro.
Are there remote regional account manager jobs in Houston?
Yes, though regional account manager work is field-heavy by nature, meaning fully remote roles are less common than in purely desk-based positions. About 68% of regional account manager openings tied to Houston are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting roles where reporting and pipeline management can be done off-site. Client-facing travel across the Gulf Coast region typically keeps most Houston postings hybrid rather than fully remote.
How can I get a regional account manager job in Houston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Houston is through an inside sales or territory sales representative role at an energy services, medical device, or industrial distribution company, then moving into a regional account manager position after proving a revenue record. Houston employers such as oilfield services companies and healthcare GPO distributors regularly hire entry-level account representatives and promote from within. Building familiarity with the Gulf Coast customer base and earning a role with quota responsibility accelerates that transition significantly.
