The Opportunity
As our Regional Director of Clinical Services, you will be a key member of Cottonwood Healthcare's Nebraska leadership team.
You'll work alongside talented Administrators, Directors of Nursing, regional operations leaders, and executive leadership to establish a culture of clinical excellence throughout our Nebraska portfolio.
Your mission will be to empower facility leaders, strengthen clinical systems, elevate quality outcomes, and help every community reach its full potential.

What You'll Do
Build and Develop Exceptional Teams
- Mentor, coach, and inspire Directors of Nursing and clinical leadership teams.
- Establish a culture of accountability, teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Help recruit, develop, and retain outstanding nursing leaders.
- Be a trusted resource and hands-on partner to facility leadership teams.
Drive Outstanding Clinical Outcomes
- Lead initiatives to improve quality measures, resident outcomes, and overall clinical performance.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen clinical practices involving wounds, falls, infections, rehospitalizations, psychotropic medications, and other critical areas.
- Partner with facility teams to implement effective, sustainable clinical systems.
- Champion resident-centered care and a commitment to excellence in every community.
Create a Culture of Survey Readiness and Compliance
- Guide facilities in maintaining strong regulatory compliance and ongoing survey readiness.
- Conduct meaningful clinical audits and help teams translate findings into measurable improvements.
- Support Plans of Correction, QAPI initiatives, and sustainable performance improvement.
- Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to facilities facing clinical or regulatory challenges.
Help Build Nebraska's Premier Healthcare Platform
- Collaborate closely with regional operations and executive leadership to align clinical excellence with strong operational performance.
- Help integrate newly acquired facilities into Cottonwood Healthcare's systems, standards, and culture.
- Identify and implement best practices that can be replicated across the region.
- Play a meaningful role in shaping the long-term success of our growing Nebraska portfolio.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a proven nursing leader who combines strong clinical expertise with the ability to inspire people and drive results.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous Director of Nursing experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care required.
- Regional or multi-facility clinical leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations, survey processes, QAPI, and clinical quality measures.
- Demonstrated success improving clinical outcomes, developing leaders, and implementing effective systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Nebraska.
