Regional Marketing Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional marketing manager in Texas?
The most direct path in Texas is a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications followed by several years in field marketing, brand, or channel roles at Texas-based companies. No state-issued license is required for this role. Texas employers typically promote from within or hire candidates who have managed multi-city campaigns across major Texas markets. An MBA from a Texas university such as UT Austin, Rice, or Texas A&M can accelerate advancement into regional leadership.
How much do regional marketing managers make in Texas?
Regional marketing managers in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional marketing managers in Texas?
Employers hiring regional marketing managers in Texas right now include Boston Consulting, Chobani, and Jobot, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large retail chains, and energy companies means sustained demand for regional marketing leadership across multiple industries.
Which Texas cities have the most regional marketing manager jobs?
Dallas, Austin, and Irving have the most regional marketing manager openings in Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth's density of corporate headquarters and retail brands drives the largest share of postings, while Houston's energy and healthcare sectors sustain steady demand, and Austin's fast-growing technology and consumer-brand scene has added a significant volume of regional marketing roles in recent years.
Are there remote regional marketing manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and they're more common than in many management roles. About 40% of regional marketing manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the desk-based and analytical nature of much of the work. Strategic planning, reporting, and digital campaign management are the functions most frequently performed remotely, while field activation and in-market events typically require a physical presence.
How can I get hired as a regional marketing manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a coordinator or specialist role in field marketing, channel marketing, or brand at a mid-size Texas consumer goods, retail, or technology company. Large Texas employers such as H-E-B and AT&T run structured rotational and associate marketing programs that develop candidates into regional roles over time. Building a portfolio of campaign results, even from internships at Texas agencies or CPG brands, and pairing it with a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification gives candidates a measurable edge in competitive markets like Dallas and Austin.
Where can I find and apply to regional marketing manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to regional marketing manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings from employers hiring now. Find roles that fit your experience and location and apply directly from the listing.
