Brand Marketing Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a brand marketing professional in Texas?
Most brand marketing roles in Texas require a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or business. Texas does not issue a state license for brand marketers, so hiring is credential-agnostic beyond education and portfolio. Employers in Austin and Dallas frequently prioritize candidates who hold a Google Analytics certification, a Meta Blueprint credential, or an AMA Professional Certified Marketer designation alongside relevant agency or in-house experience.
How much do brand marketings make in Texas?
Brand marketings in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire brand marketings in Texas?
Employers hiring brand marketings in Texas right now include Jobot, State Farm, and DoorDash, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of corporate headquarters in Dallas and major tech campuses in Austin means large brands across retail, finance, and technology maintain ongoing brand marketing teams rather than hiring only for project-based roles.
Which Texas cities have the most brand marketing jobs?
Dallas, Austin, and Houston account for the largest share of brand marketing openings in Texas. Dallas leads because of its dense cluster of Fortune 500 headquarters and agency hubs, Austin draws heavily from its technology and consumer startup ecosystem, and Houston's energy, healthcare, and logistics sectors generate consistent demand for brand professionals at regional and corporate levels.
Are there remote brand marketing jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 12% of brand marketing openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves strategy, copywriting, and digital execution rather than on-site production. Brand strategy, content development, and social media management roles are the most commonly offered as fully remote positions by Texas employers.
How can I get hired as a brand marketing professional in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a coordinator or brand associate role at a Texas retailer, CPG company, or regional agency, where structured mentorship is common. H-E-B, Dell, and AT&T all run early-career marketing programs that bring on candidates with internship experience rather than full-time history. Building a portfolio through freelance projects or student campaigns, and earning a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification, gives applicants a concrete edge over others at the same experience level.
Where can I find and apply to brand marketing jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to brand marketing jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings from employers across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and beyond. Find roles that fit your experience and location, then apply directly to the employer through each listing.
