Location: Viroqua, Wisconsin
Pay Rate: $53.00/hr $56.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 4 years required
EMR: EPIC
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a contract opportunity in Viroqua, WI. This role is based in a critical access hospital and requires strong respiratory care experience, including NICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory diagnostic and pulmonary function testing
- Create and support patient respiratory treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and response to therapy
- Provide patient education on treatments and equipment use
- Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and IV removals as needed
- Document care accurately in EPIC
- Support respiratory care needs across the facility
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required
- NICU experience required
- AHA Basic Life Support required
- Minimum 4 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday rotation
