About ISS
For 30 years, ISS has been a clinical research site network, connecting pharmaceutical sponsors and CROs with experienced, independent research sites. We're a small team with an immediate need for someone who can ramp up quickly in a key feasibility and account role, with a potential path to a full-time position.
The Role
As our Feasibility & Account Specialist, you'll match new clinical trial opportunities with the right research sites, manage sponsor and CRO relationships, and vet new sites joining our network. It's a remote, independent role for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable owning work from start to finish.
What You'll Do
◦ Review incoming studies (sponsor, indication, drug, requirements), assess feasibility and fit, and send them to network sites within 48 hours.
◦ Submit strong site referrals on time and advocate for them until the sponsor decides.
◦ Keep sponsors, CROs, and sites updated at every step, and close out each study with a documented outcome.
◦ Manage assigned sponsor/CRO accounts, respond within 24 hours, and track pipelines on ClinicalTrials.gov and Zymewire to find new opportunities.
◦ Complete background reviews of new research sites and onboard approved sites using our checklist.
◦ Keep Salesforce and Microsoft Access records accurate and current, including CDAs, contacts, and opportunities.
◦ Run the quarterly site pipeline survey and follow up with every site that doesn't respond.
What We're Looking For
◦ 4+ years of clinical research experience in site feasibility, site selection, site engagement, or account management
◦ Working knowledge of clinical trial processes, confidentiality, and CDAs.
◦ Strong written communication and confidence speaking with sponsors, CROs, and site staff.
◦ Experience with Salesforce or another CRM and Microsoft Access or another database system.
◦ Self-directed and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines while working remotely.
Availability Requirements
◦ Available 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, within 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Central Time.
◦ Able to start the week of September 28, 2026.
◦ Not currently employed full-time. The role needs dedicated availability during business hours, so we can't consider candidates who currently hold a full-time position.
◦ Reliable internet and a quiet home workspace.
