Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our growing specialty practice focused on the evidence-based treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and related conditions.

This is a primarily telehealth position offering the flexibility to provide specialized psychological services from a fully remote setting. For psychologists located near Scottsdale, Arizona, optional in-person clinical work may also be available.

As a member of our clinical team, you will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to each client's needs.

Our clinical approach emphasizes evidence-based interventions for OCD and anxiety, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT).

Most importantly, this position is designed to allow psychologists to focus on being psychologists.

We handle credentialing, billing, collections, advertising, client acquisition, scheduling, and practice administration. You focus on providing exceptional clinical care and continuing to develop your expertise as an OCD and anxiety specialist.

Compensation

This is a W-2 employee position serving clients across our affiliated Arizona and Nebraska practices.

Clinical compensation varies based on the practice and state in which the client is receiving services:

Arizona clients: $105–$110 per completed clinical hour

Nebraska clients: $130–$150 per completed clinical hour

Placement within the applicable range is based on experience, specialized training, qualifications, and other applicable factors.

Clinicians will maintain a combination of Arizona and Nebraska clients, with a minimum expectation of approximately 20 completed clinical hours per week.

Estimated Annual Clinical Compensation

The examples below assume an approximately 50/50 mix of Arizona and Nebraska clients and 48 clinical weeks per year.

These figures are estimates intended to illustrate potential clinical compensation and are not guaranteed annual salaries. Actual compensation will vary based on completed clinical hours, individual compensation rates, caseload mix, cancellations, PTO, and other applicable factors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations for OCD, anxiety disorders, and related conditions
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each client's presentation, goals, and needs
• Provide individual psychotherapy primarily through secure telehealth platforms
• Utilize evidence-based interventions including ERP, ACT, I-CBT, CBT, and related cognitive and behavioral approaches
• Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions based on clinical response
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and, when clinically appropriate, family members or other supports
• Assess and appropriately respond to clinical risk and crisis situations
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals when clinically indicated
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements, professional ethics, and applicable state licensing requirements
• Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and professional development
• Maintain a minimum average caseload of approximately 20 clinical hours per week
• Offer several evening appointment hours each week to help meet client scheduling needs

Schedule & Flexibility

We value clinician autonomy and offer significant flexibility in how you structure your clinical schedule.

Psychologists are expected to maintain a minimum of approximately 20 clinical hours per week and offer a few evening appointment hours each week to accommodate client needs.

Outside of those expectations, clinicians have substantial flexibility in designing their schedules.

Clinical Approach

Our practices specialize in evidence-based treatment for OCD, anxiety disorders, and related conditions.

Our clinicians utilize and continue developing expertise in approaches including:

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is a cornerstone of evidence-based OCD treatment, helping clients gradually confront feared situations and reduce reliance on compulsive behaviors.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT principles may be incorporated to help clients develop psychological flexibility, change their relationship with difficult internal experiences, and move toward meaningful values-based action.

Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)

We also value I-CBT as an evidence-based approach to OCD treatment and are interested in clinicians who have experience with—or want to develop additional expertise in—this model.

We value clinicians who think critically about treatment and thoughtfully individualize evidence-based interventions rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Clinical supervision and consultation are included to support continued development as an OCD and anxiety specialist.

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution
• Current individual psychologist license in Arizona
• Current individual psychologist license in Nebraska
• Independent authorization to provide psychological services under both state licenses
• Both licenses maintained in good standing
• Experience providing psychotherapy and conducting clinical assessments
• Strong interest in specializing in OCD, anxiety disorders, and related conditions
• Commitment to evidence-based psychological treatment
• Familiarity with CBT and related evidence-based interventions
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience providing telehealth services or comfort practicing in a virtual clinical environment
• Ability to manage an independent caseload while collaborating with a clinical team
• Ability to maintain approximately 20 or more clinical hours per week
• Willingness to offer several evening appointment hours each week

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience treating OCD and anxiety disorders
• Formal training or clinical experience in ERP
• Training or experience in ACT
• Training or experience in I-CBT
• Experience working in an outpatient or specialty mental health practice
• Interest in continuing advanced training in OCD and anxiety treatment

Candidates do not need to be experts in every treatment modality listed above. We value strong clinicians who are committed to evidence-based practice and interested in continuing to develop their specialty expertise.

Important Dual-Licensure Requirement

Applicants must currently hold their own individual psychologist licenses in BOTH Arizona and Nebraska.

PSYPACT authorization alone does not satisfy the licensure requirement for this position.
