Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced **Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)** to join our growing telehealth practice on a part-time 1099 independent-contractor basis.
This is an opportunity to establish a long-term relationship with a growing practice, with potential for the position to expand to full-time as patient volume and practice needs increase. Future full-time opportunities may include increased compensation and employee benefits.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes by offering accessible, evidence-based care through telehealth platforms from the comfort of your home or designated remote workspace. ### A Long-Term Opportunity
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments via telehealth platform
- Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate psychotherapy, medication management, and behavioral interventions.
- Diagnose and treat patients within the provider's scope of practice.
- Provide psychiatric medication management when clinically appropriate.
- Monitor treatment response, medication effectiveness, and potential adverse effects.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medications.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered telehealth care.
- Follow all applicable federal and South Carolina laws, regulations, and telehealth requirements.
Qualifications
- Active **Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)** certification.
- Current APRN/NP licensure appropriate for practicing in South Carolina.
- Eligible to provide telehealth services to patients in South Carolina.
- **Established or independently obtainable collaborative physician arrangement, as required by applicable law.**
- DEA registration and appropriate prescribing privileges, as applicable to the position.
- Previous psychiatric/mental-health clinical experience: at least 1-2 years
- Telehealth experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care.

As the practice grows, full-time opportunities may include **increased compensation, medical benefits, and additional employee benefits**, subject to the terms of the full-time position.
The practice also invests in the infrastructure you need to provide care efficiently, including **credentialing, EMR, electronic prescribing/EPCS technology, telehealth infrastructure, marketing, and patient-acquisition support.**
**GUARANTEED PAY: $880-$960week ($55-$60hour) Guaranteed | Part-Time 1099 | Columbia, SC**16 scheduled hours — patient volume does not affect your guaranteed weekly compensation.**
We believe providers should know exactly how they will be compensated.
This is **not a productivity-based compensation model where your earnings depend on filling your schedule or seeing a certain number of patients.**
- **$55/hour guaranteed** for qualified PMHNPs with less than 3 years of relevant experience
- **$60/hour guaranteed** for PMHNPs with **3+ years of relevant psychiatric/PMHNP experience**
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
