About Jerry.ai
Jerry is building the first AI-powered advisor to manage all your physical assets.
Your car, home, and motorcycle aren't just purchases, they're the physical embodiment of the life you've worked hard to build. Yet the experience of owning them is stuck in the 90s. Every step of the journey — buying, insuring, maintaining, repairing, selling — is fragmented, complicated, and expensive.
Imagine having a trusted friend in your pocket who takes care of everything: they find you the right car or home at the right price, lock in the best insurance rate without you lifting a finger, remind you before that service appointment turns into an expensive repair, and help you sell at the best price when the time is right. That friend is Jerry.
We started with car insurance in 2019, became one of the top 3 brokers in the U.S., then added driving insights, diagnostics, and a repair marketplace. We've reached 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and have been profitable since 2024. We're now expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and beyond.
Led by serial entrepreneurs and backed by Y Combinator, our team comprises talented and big-hearted leaders from places like Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and GEICO. Our culture is the #1 reason people join Jerry and stay — we are a small and mighty team of competitive but kind people who think and act like owners, care deeply about the quality and impact of our work, and are relentless in our pursuit of learning and mastery over our craft.
We are proud to consistently rank as one of Y Combinator's Top Companies, Forbes and Statista's Best Startup Employers, and to have received other accolades in fintech and insurtech innovation, workplace culture, and leadership.
We are a remote-first company, but if you prefer in-person or hybrid, we also have offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto.

Tips for Your Remote Sales Agent Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote sales agent openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly. Remote postings fill fast, so applying within the first few days gives you a real advantage.
Prove your remote work setup upfront
Remote sales employers want to know you have a reliable home office, a quiet space for calls, and a stable connection. Mention your setup briefly in your cover letter or application. Candidates who address this proactively remove a common early concern for hiring managers.
Show async communication skills in your application
Remote sales roles depend on written outreach, email sequencing, and Slack-style collaboration. Your cover letter and any written responses during the application process are live demonstrations of those skills. Write clearly, get to the point fast, and avoid unnecessary filler.
Lead your resume with measurable sales results
Remote employers can't watch you work, so they look for numbers: pipeline value, close rates, revenue generated, or quota attainment percentages. Put these in your resume summary and in each role entry. Concrete figures signal you can perform without in-person supervision.
Remote Sales Agent Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote sales agent job?
Remote sales agent roles go to candidates who can demonstrate self-direction and strong written communication, since you won't have a manager nearby to coach you through each deal. Companies hiring remotely screen heavily for experience with CRM tools, async outreach, and hitting quotas without daily in-person oversight. Showing a concrete results history, even from part-time or contract sales work, gives you a clear edge over candidates who only list duties.
Which companies hire remote sales agents?
Companies hiring remote sales agents right now include SelectQuote, Humana, and Farmers Insurance, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Remote-first software firms, distributed insurance carriers, and fintech companies are among the most consistent sources of remote sales agent openings.
Can you get a remote sales agent job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level sales agent roles are harder to land because employers expect you to ramp up independently from day one. Remote-first companies in SaaS and insurance are the most likely to hire entry-level candidates. Showing completed sales training courses, a record of quota-driven work in any setting, or demonstrated comfort with remote communication tools can substitute for formal experience.
Do you need a degree for remote sales agent jobs?
Not always. Most remote employers weigh demonstrated sales ability, CRM proficiency, and a track of closing deals far more heavily than a degree. Certifications in sales methodologies or specific product verticals can strengthen a no-degree application. Some licensed insurance or financial sales roles do require state licensing, which matters more to employers than academic credentials.
Which industries hire the most remote sales agents?
Most remote sales agent openings sit in Insurance, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors maintain distributed sales teams because their products and services can be demonstrated, negotiated, and closed entirely through digital channels.
