Job Description

Pinky's Westside Grill is seeking an experienced, organized, and results-driven Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities and ensure smooth, efficient operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service, monitoring operational performance, and supporting the restaurant's business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to create a welcoming dining environment while managing the demands of a fast-paced grill restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient and consistent service.
• Supervise front-of-house and kitchen teams to maintain high performance standards.
• Lead, motivate, and support employees in delivering excellent customer service.
• Develop staff schedules and coordinate shift coverage according to operational needs.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development.
• Establish clear expectations for employee performance, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, portion consistency, and service quality.
• Ensure customer orders are accurate, timely, and handled according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the dining experience.
• Coordinate communication between kitchen staff, servers, cashiers, and management.
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Monitor stock rotation, storage practices, and product freshness to minimize waste.
• Help manage food costs, labor expenses, and other operating costs.
• Review sales activity and operational reports to identify performance trends.
• Support budgeting, cost-control measures, and business planning.

• Conduct routine inspections of the kitchen, dining area, service stations, and storage spaces.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash-handling practices, and shift reporting.
• Ensure equipment, facilities, and restaurant workspaces are properly maintained.
• Implement operational procedures that improve productivity and service consistency.
• Coordinate special promotions, menu updates, and service initiatives with the management team.
• Resolve staffing and operational challenges while maintaining professional standards.
• Communicate business priorities, policy updates, and performance expectations to employees.
• Work with ownership and senior management to achieve restaurant goals and improve profitability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in restaurant operations, hospitality management, or food service leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise employees and coordinate multiple restaurant functions.
