Who's Hiring

Restaurant Jobs in Raleigh: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a restaurant job in Raleigh?
The strongest hiring happens in Raleigh's Downtown district, North Hills, and Glenwood South, where full-service restaurants, hotel dining outlets, and fast-casual chains all recruit actively. Independent spots in Midtown and the Warehouse District favor candidates with previous front-of-house or kitchen experience, while larger hotel and entertainment groups near the Convention Center tend to hire for multiple roles at once and offer more structured onboarding for newer workers.
Which companies hire restaurants in Raleigh?
Companies currently hiring restaurants in Raleigh include Cook Out Restaurants, Dunkin', and White Lodging, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Raleigh's mix of independently owned dining concepts, regional hospitality groups, and national chains means openings exist across a wide range of service styles and kitchen environments.
Are there remote restaurant jobs in Raleigh?
Yes, though remote work is rare in restaurant roles since most positions require an on-site physical presence. About 0% of restaurant openings tied to Raleigh are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to be corporate or administrative roles such as restaurant marketing, operations coordination, or regional management rather than floor or kitchen positions.
How can I get a restaurant job in Raleigh with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Raleigh is applying for host, busser, or dishwasher roles at the city's many fast-casual and casual-dining spots in North Hills and Glenwood South, where turnover creates consistent openings. Larger hotel dining outlets near downtown often hire entry-level food runners and banquet staff with on-the-job training included. Showing flexibility across lunch and dinner shifts and holding a current North Carolina food handler certification gives newer candidates a clear edge over the competition.
