Entry Level Sales And Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales and marketing manager job?
Focus on building a portfolio that shows real results, even from class projects, internships, or volunteer campaigns. Employers at this level look for candidates who understand both sales funnels and marketing channels, can work with CRM tools, and show comfort with data like conversion rates or lead metrics. Certifications in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or Meta Ads give entry level applicants a concrete edge over candidates with no credentials.
Which companies hire entry level sales and marketing managers?
Companies hiring entry level sales and marketing managers right now include Sinclair Broadcast, University of Utah, and OhioHealth, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Startups, regional retailers, healthcare organizations, and technology companies tend to post the most junior-level openings because they need generalists who can own both pipeline growth and brand presence from day one.
Are there remote entry level sales and marketing manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still make up a significant share of postings. About 12% of entry level sales and marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, giving new candidates real flexibility when starting out. Filtering by work setting on Migrate Mate lets you narrow to fully remote roles if location independence is a priority.
Are these new grad sales and marketing manager jobs?
Yes, this page includes new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles alongside other entry level listings. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or co-ops toward the requirement, or accepts a strong portfolio in place of a lengthy work history. Look for language like "no prior management experience required" or "training provided" as reliable signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level sales and marketing managers?
Entry Level sales and marketing manager roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Media & Entertainment, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors hire heavily at the junior level because they run high-volume campaigns, rely on continuous lead generation, and need coordinators who can grow into full management responsibilities as the business scales.
