Student Intermediate Level
The Global & National Security Policy Institute (GNSPI) brings together global and national security-related courses, research, and programs at the University of New Mexico in a coherent whole under one umbrella to serve the entire institution—students and faculty—across its several campuses. The GNSPI mission is to improve security policy by educating thoughtful, ethical practitioners to navigate an uncertain security future and shaping the debate around pressing security issues in four focus areas: Critical & Emerging Technology Policy, National Security Strategy & Policy, Intelligence Studies, and Transnational Security Policy.
Our partnerships with New Mexico’s premier national laboratories provide the intellectual basis for understanding the threats to national security, particularly in technology and global “commons” (e.g., space, climate, food & water, and energy resources), and their role in international relations. Our graduates are educated in the consequences of the global diffusion of technology and communications. Our objective is to improve the nation’s capacity to make ethical policy judgements about what should be done, and about what should not be done. We intend to expand the thinking that defines the security needs of the United States and of the world.

Sales And Marketing Manager Jobs in New Mexico: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales and marketing manager in New Mexico?
Most sales and marketing manager roles in New Mexico require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications, along with several years of progressive experience in sales or marketing. New Mexico does not issue a state license for this role, so hiring decisions hinge on demonstrated results and leadership experience. Candidates who build expertise in industries prominent in the state, such as defense contracting, healthcare, or energy, tend to be most competitive.
Which companies hire sales and marketing managers in New Mexico?
New Mexico sales and marketing manager roles are posted by University of New Mexico, Santa Fe Animal Shelter, and Southwest Womens Oncology/Optimum and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Mexico's mix of federal contractors, regional health systems, and energy companies creates consistent demand for managers who can operate across both technical and consumer-facing markets.
Which New Mexico cities have the most sales and marketing manager jobs?
Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and New Mexico have the most sales and marketing manager openings in New Mexico. Albuquerque drives the majority of demand as the state's largest metro, anchored by its concentration of healthcare systems, technology firms, and federal contractors, while Santa Fe and Las Cruces add openings through state government-adjacent organizations and regional businesses serving southern New Mexico.
Are there remote sales and marketing manager jobs in New Mexico?
Yes, and more than many management fields, since much of the strategic and analytical work can be done remotely. About 63% of sales and marketing manager openings tied to New Mexico are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of planning, reporting, and digital campaign work. Roles requiring in-person client meetings or team leadership tend to remain on-site.
How can I get hired as a sales and marketing manager in New Mexico with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from a sales representative or marketing coordinator role within a New Mexico employer, then stepping into a management position as the team grows. Large employers like Presbyterian Healthcare Services and regional technology firms often hire marketing coordinators and account executives as stepping stones. Building a portfolio of campaign results or sales data, even from smaller projects, gives candidates a measurable edge when applying for their first management title.
Where can I find and apply to sales and marketing manager jobs in New Mexico?
You can find and apply to sales and marketing manager jobs in New Mexico on Migrate Mate, which lists current New Mexico openings updated regularly. Search for roles that fit your background, review the requirements, and apply directly to the ones that match your experience and target industry.
