Sales Development Manager Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales development manager job in Nashville?
Target Nashville's strongest hiring sectors first: healthcare technology companies anchored around the Medical Center area, SaaS and software firms in the Gulch and Midtown, and financial services employers in Cool Springs and Brentwood. Candidates who combine pipeline management experience with familiarity in one of those verticals stand out locally. Networking through Nashville Sales and the Nashville Technology Council also opens doors that job boards don't.
Which companies hire sales development managers in Nashville?
Companies currently hiring sales development managers in Nashville include Dexory, Stampli, and L3Harris, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Nashville's mix of large healthcare technology corporations, regional insurance carriers, and fast-growing SaaS startups means demand for this role comes from both established enterprises and early-stage companies scaling their revenue teams.
Are there remote sales development manager jobs in Nashville?
Yes, though many roles require in-office presence because sales development managers often work closely with account executives and attend local client meetings. About 88% of sales development manager openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with remote options most common at software and SaaS companies headquartered in or near the Gulch and Cool Springs corridors.
How can I get a sales development manager job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from a sales development representative role at one of Nashville's many healthcare technology or SaaS companies, where internal promotion to manager is common once you've led a small pod or mentored new reps. Nashville employers in insurance and fintech also hire first-time managers from strong individual-contributor backgrounds. Building familiarity with tools like Salesforce and Outreach before applying gives candidates a clear advantage locally.
Which industries hire the most sales development managers in Nashville?
Most sales development manager openings in Nashville sit in Technology & Software and Electronics & Hardware, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Nashville's concentration of major healthcare technology firms, a growing fintech corridor in Cool Springs, and an expanding SaaS ecosystem in Midtown collectively drive consistent demand for professionals who can build and lead outbound sales development teams.
