Sales Enablement Program Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales enablement program manager in New York?
The path into sales enablement program management in New York typically starts with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications, followed by several years in sales, sales operations, or learning and development. New York does not require a state-issued license for this role. Most candidates build toward it through adjacent positions such as sales trainer, revenue operations analyst, or marketing program manager at one of the many enterprise firms based in the New York metro.
Which companies hire sales enablement program managers in New York?
Employers hiring sales enablement program managers in New York right now include Rippling, DoorDash, and Mastercard, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of financial services, enterprise software, and media companies means hiring is especially active among firms with large, complex sales organizations that require structured enablement programs.
Which New York cities have the most sales enablement program manager jobs?
New York, Rochester, and Harrison have the most sales enablement program manager openings in New York. Manhattan dominates because the city's dense cluster of Fortune 500 headquarters, financial institutions, and enterprise tech offices drives consistent demand for sales enablement functions, while outer-borough and suburban hubs reflect spillover from large employers with regional offices in those areas.
Are there remote sales enablement program manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. Sales enablement program management is primarily a desk-based, content-driven, and strategic role, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 33% of sales enablement program manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how broadly this function has shifted to distributed work. Program design, content development, and virtual coaching are the parts of the role most commonly performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a sales enablement program manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a sales operations or sales training coordinator role at a mid-size to large New York-based company, where you can build direct exposure to enablement tools and program delivery. Large New York employers in financial services and enterprise tech often recruit into rotational business development or operations programs that lead naturally into enablement functions. Building a portfolio of training materials or onboarding content and earning a credential such as the Salesforce Certified Sales Representative designation strengthens a candidacy significantly.
