Partner Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partner manager in New York?
Partner manager is not a licensed profession in New York, so there is no state board exam or registration required. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications, along with experience in sales, account management, or a related role. New York's density of technology, finance, and media companies makes it practical to move into partner management from adjacent roles such as account executive, customer success manager, or business development representative at firms headquartered in the city.
Which companies hire partner managers in New York?
Employers hiring partner managers in New York right now include Amazon Web Services, Google, and Human Interest, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. New York's concentration of enterprise software, financial technology, and media companies means partner manager openings tend to cluster around firms managing large commercial or channel ecosystems.
Which New York cities have the most partner manager jobs?
New York, Albany, and Harrison have the most partner manager openings in New York. New York City drives the majority of demand because it is home to the U.S. headquarters of major technology, financial services, and media companies that rely on partner networks, while White Plains and other Westchester County locations contribute openings from regional offices of national enterprise firms.
Are there remote partner manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. Partner management is primarily a relationship and communications role that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 77% of partner manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how widely distributed partner ecosystems have become. The parts of the role most suited to remote work include pipeline reviews, partner enablement calls, and co-marketing coordination.
How can I get hired as a partner manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a business development representative or sales development role at a New York-based technology or SaaS company, then moving laterally into a junior partner or channel associate position. Large New York employers in enterprise software and fintech regularly hire associate-level partner staff from their own sales teams. Completing a Salesforce or HubSpot certification strengthens a candidate's profile considerably, as does any experience coordinating between internal teams and outside vendors or agencies.
Where can I find and apply to partner manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to partner manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers actively hiring in the state. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your experience and location, and apply directly to each one without creating an account or signing up.
