How do I get a sales specialist job in Seattle?
Focus your search on Seattle's dominant hiring sectors: cloud computing and SaaS companies clustered in South Lake Union, medical device and life sciences firms on the Eastside, and fintech and enterprise software employers throughout Bellevue and Redmond. Candidates who can demonstrate consultative selling experience and familiarity with complex, long-cycle deals stand out in Seattle's B2B-heavy market. Networking within Seattle's tech community and targeting companies expanding their mid-market or enterprise sales teams gives you the strongest edge.
Which companies hire sales specialists in Seattle?

Seattle's hiring landscape skews heavily toward technology companies, health systems, and professional services firms, many of which maintain dedicated regional sales teams headquartered in or around the city.
Are there remote sales specialist jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type: field and territory-based sales specialist positions are predominantly on-site or in-market, while inside sales and account management roles are more commonly remote or hybrid. About 83% of sales specialist openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Inside sales roles supporting SaaS and cloud technology companies make up the largest share of remote-eligible work in the Seattle market.
How can I get a sales specialist job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is landing a sales development representative or business development representative role at one of the city's many SaaS or cloud companies, particularly those with structured training programs in South Lake Union or the Eastside. Regional retailers, healthcare distributors, and staffing agencies in Seattle also hire entry-level sales associates and promote from within. Highlighting customer-facing experience, comfort with CRM tools, and genuine familiarity with Seattle's tech ecosystem gives newer candidates a concrete advantage over generalist applicants.
