Our trusted platform unifies people, agents, apps, and data so work happens with shared context, governed execution, and continuous intelligence — boosting productivity and deepening every customer relationship.
THE ROLE
The Portfolio Messaging & Activation team is the creative and strategic heartbeat of our brand. We turn powerful technology—Agentforce Sales, Slack, Data 360, AI, and Agentforce—into human-centric stories that move CROs, Sales Leaders and Sellers. As the bridge between Product Management and our Global Marketing engines, this team ensures that our agentic sales cycle vision is delivered with consistency, punch, and local relevance across every physical and digital stage (i.e. “channel”) worldwide. A significant and exciting aspect of this role is the ownership of our major keynote presentations. You will be the creative force behind the Agentforce Sales narratives delivered on our biggest stages, including Dreamforce, Salesforce World Tours, key third-party events, and internal company-wide gatherings. This requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and meticulous execution.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead Portfolio Messaging & Activation. In this role, you will be the architect of our global narrative and its physical manifestation, lead a team of product marketers and work collaboratively across marketing and product management stakeholders to go to market. In this role, you will:
- Master Narrative & Portfolio Storytelling: Develop and refine the core messaging and positioning for the entire Agentforce Sales portfolio, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compelling differentiation across all external and internal communications.
- Executive Keynote Strategy: Partner with C-suite leaders and Product VPs to craft visionary scripts and presentations with visual storytelling for mainstage for keynote presentations for major events (Dreamforce, World Tours, etc.), including narrative development, slide creation, scripting, demo integration, and speaker coaching for executive leadership.
- Creative Asset Development: Articulate the Agentforce Sales value proposition across a range of foundational marketing assets, including core pitch decks, customer success stories, event content, and enablement materials.
- Messaging Activation at Events: Lead the content and messaging strategy for our most high-profile moments (Dreamforce, World Tours, and Executive Summits). You will partner with the Events, Creative and Media teams to ensure our portfolio story is woven into every keynote, demo, breakout session and promotional communications.
- The "Golden Thread" across the Field: Ensure that the global narrative isn't lost in translation. You will work with the GTM PMM team to activate the regional Operating Units (OUs) on the master story, providing them with the high-fidelity assets, first call decks and the storytelling frameworks needed to win locally.
- Strategic Event Leadership & Operations: Lead a strategic and operational team responsible for the messaging activation through events. From high-level narrative strategy and content development to the technical logistics, vendor management, and onsite execution of premier events like Dreamforce and World Tours.
- Product Launch & GTM Support: Collaborate with product marketing teams on major product launches, ensuring the portfolio narrative is integrated seamlessly into go-to-market strategies.
- Integrated Activation Management: Oversee a dedicated team of event and content specialists to ensure a seamless "Golden Thread" where world-class storytelling meets flawless operational delivery, managing both the creative vision and the complex logistical requirements of physical and digital stages.
- Team Leadership: Lead across the team on all initiatives, coaching others to ensure high-quality output.
