INTRODUCTION
The Ariba Project Manager resource will act as a single point of contact for the Ariba Consulting Services and will address relevant questions, issues or requests raised by the Customer.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Managers demonstrate deep knowledge of project management methodologies and have good working knowledge of specific SAP tools and methodologies.
- They also demonstrate the ability to coordinate work assignments and project completion, mentor team members in project management practices, and manage the integration of project components.
- In addition, they have exemplary consulting skills and can deal effectively with difficult client situations and communications. Project Managers can marshal resources, provide effective solutions, and drive results while gaining the confidence and commitment of client and team members.
- Minimum SAP Experience is 6+ years and typically have completed several phases of the SAP implementation life cycle.
- Strong experience with managing SAP Ariba projects preferred.
- Experience in understanding the SAP Ariba products is critical for this role.
- Providing issues escalation path and resolution.
- Assisting in managing communications to key stakeholders and key activity sign-off coordination.
- Planning interrelated deployment activities to avoid dependency-related obstacles.
- Monitoring for potential issues and risks so they are identified and promptly addressed.
- Preparing and conducting project lessons learned working session with Customer per major move to Production milestone.
