ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Titan Security is currently hiring a Security Account Manager to work at a location in Burns Harbor, Indiana. The Security Account Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is primarily responsible for supervising the day-to-day security operations of assigned Client sites.
Responsibilities of the Security Manager include but are not limited to:
- Manage a team of Security Officers, Site and Shift Supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support.
- Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
- Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees.
- Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service.
- Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
- Conduct annual reviews for on site staff.
- Monitors the quality of staff performance including coordinating and conducting exit interviews, assisting with unemployment claims review of disciplinary actions, recommendations for suspension or termination as well as ensuring a regular performance appraisal program for all staff.
- Coordinates and documents performance tracking of all staff personnel.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of personnel files and workforce management systems working with Account/Operations Managers and HR department, as necessary.
- Support HR department in review of involuntary terminations including, union grievances and appeals.
- Supports Director of Operations and HR in hiring, training and on-boarding.
- Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities and account trends.
- Responsible for tracking company equipment in the field including technology, vehicles, etc. and ensuring company equipment is utilized in accordance with applicable policies.
- Stays current on federal, state and local CBA guidelines relative our services.
- Supports the organization’s culture, processes, practices and systems to ensure that company and its clients.
- Prepare correspondence and memos as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience: Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred. Minimum of 10 of managerial and policy making experience in the law enforcement or contract security field. Experience level to include extensive internal contacts within the local law enforcement community. Previous MARSEC, NRC and Industrial facility security experience preferred.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
Preferred Certifications: CPP certification (ASIS), OSHA-30, and FEMA IC 700, MARSEC FSO Certification.
Physical Demands: The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Base salary $85K based on experience plus discretionary year-end bonus, paid vacation and personal days, medical insurance, dental insurance, life and AD&D insurance, optional life and AD&D insurance, paid holidays, and 401(k) match.
