ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This job is responsible for executing corporate security activities essential to protecting the safety of employees and bank facilities. Key responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence related to potential threats, risks, and vulnerabilities, or ensuring the bank’s security technology programming and credentialing is accurate.
The Corporate Security Specialist is responsible for the administration, support, and lifecycle management of enterprise electronic security systems that protect the organization’s people, facilities, and assets. This role provides technical expertise across video surveillance, intrusion alarm systems, and access control technologies, supporting device programming, configuration, connectivity, and operational stability in a highly regulated environment.
The Specialist partners closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure security technologies are deployed, maintained, and optimized in alignment with regulatory requirements, life safety standards, and organizational risk posture.
This position requires strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system, device, and network-related issues while maintaining composure in time-sensitive or high-impact situations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and system administration for enterprise access control systems
- Perform device management and programming, including configuration changes, troubleshooting, testing, and validation of security devices and applications
- Support networked security systems, partnering with Network Services and technology teams to resolve connectivity, performance, and integration issues
- Coordinate and guide installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities, working with vendors, integrators, and property management teams
- Analyze system behavior, alerts, failures, and trends to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex security technology issues impacting multiple locations or systems
- Ensure access control systems are in compliance with the Federal Bank Protection Act and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Support life safety and incident response by providing timely technical assistance during system outages, escalations, or security events
- Document system changes, programming updates, and resolutions with a strong attention to accuracy and audit readiness
- Maintain effective communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and business partners while balancing multiple priorities and requests
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ yrs experience in a corporate security/Technical customer service/operations role, and/or a basic understanding of security system technologies (alarms, video, and access control).
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Highly organized, motivated self-starter who can deliver results with minimal direction
- Team-orientation, flexibility, with a receptiveness to change
- Strong, confident presentation skills with the ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly and succinctly with stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills, with significant attention to detail - ability to query, review, and manipulate data
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to rapid changes in priorities and demand and manage risk effectively
- Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule - 11:00am - 8:00pm EST, Monday - Friday

- Card Access Control experience
- Symmetry (AMAG) experience
- Proficient in Adobe Photo Shop
