ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Opportunity-to-Engagement (O2E) Global Delivery and Test Senior Consultant will actively work in:
Delivery Management:
- Work closely between Transformation and Technology delivery teams to ensure planning and execution of deliverables meet business needs in a timely manner.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Stay closely connected to and track change requests as they arise, manage the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring smooth transitions from development to testing and ultimately to production.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Test Strategy and Planning:
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies - encompassing functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Estimate testing effort, allocate resources effectively, and manage test environments.
Environment and Configuration Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of environment configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Lead coordination with technology teams to ensure alignment and delivery on environment requirements to meet business needs.
- Implement and maintain environment management processes, including geo-specific configuration and release management.
Test Execution and Management:
- Oversee the execution of test cases and defect tracking.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and effective communication throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Responsible for reporting on test execution and communicating with stakeholders across the transformation, technology, and business landscapes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Do you possess the following?:
- Education (degree): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, or IT related vocational training.
- Proven experience from a top tier strategy consulting firm, large Corporate or $1B+ private enterprise.
- Proven experience 4+ years as a Test and Delivery Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software releases.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and testing approaches including defect tracking, reporting and resolutions processes.
- Expertise in test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent business acumen needed across sales, quality and risk assessments, and engagement delivery activities.
- High degree of comfort working in an unstructured environment.
- Ability to synthesize information and business requirements and structure this into meaningful recommendations.
- Ability to leverage proven techniques to elicit and analyze client needs; ability to provide key input into solutions that meet and often exceed client needs.
- Outstanding research and presentation skills; superior PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
- Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment.
- Outstanding attention to detail while working independently.
- Flexibility and ability to pivot work as necessary.
- Proactive and results-oriented player who wants to contribute to a high performance team.
- Ability to interpret business objectives and drivers to shape initiatives.
- Ability to work under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
