Pricing Analyst Jobs in Tennessee: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a pricing analyst in Tennessee?
Most Tennessee employers require a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or business as the foundation for a pricing analyst role. There is no state-issued license or registration specific to pricing analysts in Tennessee. Candidates strengthen their candidacy by building proficiency in Excel, SQL, and pricing tools, and by earning credentials such as the Certified Pricing Professional designation offered through the Professional Pricing Society, which has a recognized membership base in Tennessee's healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
Which companies hire pricing analysts in Tennessee?
Employers hiring pricing analysts in Tennessee right now include Franke, Parallon, and Cracker Barrel, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Tennessee's concentration of large healthcare systems, national retailers headquartered in the Nashville area, and major logistics operators means pricing analyst roles appear across several distinct industries rather than clustering in one sector.
Which Tennessee cities have the most pricing analyst jobs?
Nashville, Smyrna, and Lebanon have the most pricing analyst openings in Tennessee. Nashville dominates due to its density of healthcare headquarters, corporate offices, and retail chains, while Memphis draws demand from logistics and supply chain operations anchored by large freight and distribution companies, and Brentwood generates openings from the corporate campuses of national consumer and healthcare brands based just south of Nashville.
Are there remote pricing analyst jobs in Tennessee?
Yes, and more than most fields, because pricing analysis is fundamentally a desk-based, data-driven role that translates well to remote work. About 75% of pricing analyst openings tied to Tennessee are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the role's compatibility with distributed teams. The work most commonly done remotely includes financial modeling, competitive benchmarking, and reporting, while on-site presence is more often expected for roles embedded in sales or operations teams.
How can I get hired as a pricing analyst in Tennessee with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to financial analyst, data analyst, or revenue operations coordinator roles at large Tennessee employers, then moving laterally into pricing once you have exposure to margin and rate analysis. HCA Healthcare, Nissan's Tennessee operations, and regional logistics firms regularly hire analysts at the associate level without requiring direct pricing experience. Building a portfolio of Excel or SQL projects demonstrating cost or rate analysis, and completing coursework in financial modeling, gives candidates a concrete edge when competing for those entry openings.
Where can I find and apply to pricing analyst jobs in Tennessee?
You can find and apply to pricing analyst jobs in Tennessee on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to Tennessee employers and locations. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your experience and target industry, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
