Job Summary: As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between customers and the automotive repair shop. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, both in person and on the phone.
- Listen to customer concerns and describe the nature of their vehicle issues.
- Provide clear explanations of repair recommendations and costs.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-up communications.
- Service Management:
- Create and maintain detailed repair orders, including work requested, customer concerns, and services provided.
- Coordinate with technicians to obtain repair estimates and timelines.
- Ensure all necessary parts and labor are ordered and scheduled.
- Track the progress of each vehicle through the repair process and keep customers informed.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and repair orders.
- Process transactions, including billing and payments.
- Schedule appointments and manage the repair shop's daily workflow.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
- Implement customer feedback to improve service quality and shop operations.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards.
- Verify that repairs meet the expectations set with customers and are completed on time.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with technicians and other shop staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as an automotive service writer or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
