Position: Full-Time
Position Overview
Overland Grocery Outlet is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a Mid Shift Lead. This position is primarily responsible for keeping key merchandising areas of the store stocked, organized, and visually appealing while providing additional support to our supervisors and cashiers.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in developing their skills for future advancement into a Department Supervisor position.
Responsibilities
- Restock and merchandise key areas of the store, including end caps, feature walls, fresh front spot boxes, and key items in the produce, meat, and dairy departments
- Maintain full, clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
- Ensure products are properly rotated, priced, and signed
- Assist supervisors with register overrides and other operational needs
- Provide cashier backup during busy periods
- Assist customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Assist with other store responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous grocery, retail, or merchandising experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on assigned tasks
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Takes initiative and pride in maintaining high merchandising standards
- Willingness to assist in different departments as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift
- Previous cashier experience is a plus, but training is available
Schedule Requirements
This position has a set schedule of Thursday through Monday, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Applicants must be available to work all five scheduled days, including Saturdays and Sundays.
