The Role

We're looking for an Account Manager to join our Client Services team and own the day-to-day success of a portfolio of client accounts. This is an end-to-end role: you'll be the connective tissue between our clients and our internal creative/production team, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to production to posting.

Beyond core account management, this role also owns creator partnerships and outreach, identifying, vetting, and managing relationships with creators and affiliates to expand client reach and drive performance through affiliate and partnership programs.

You'll report directly to the Director of Accounts & Client Services and play a key role in how our clients experience Ascensio: organized, responsive, and consistently delivering great work on time.

What You'll Do

Client Management

• Serve as a primary day-to-day point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients
• Lead regular client meetings, status updates, strategy check-ins, and performance reviews
• Translate client goals and feedback into clear internal briefs and action items
• Manage client expectations around timelines, deliverables, and scope

Operations & Workflow

• Own the end-to-end production workflow: concept development, creative briefing, production coordination, review/approval cycles, and final posting
• Keep content calendars, project trackers, and internal workflows organized and on schedule across multiple accounts simultaneously
• Coordinate with internal creative, design, and production teams to keep deliverables moving and on-brand
• Flag bottlenecks or resourcing issues before they become deadline problems

Creator Partnerships & Affiliate Outreach

• Identify, research, and reach out to creators for brand partnerships and collaborations on behalf of clients
• Manage creator relationships from outreach through content delivery and payment/reporting
• Set up and manage affiliate links and partnership programs, tracking performance and optimizing based on results
• Negotiate partnership terms and deliverables in line with client budgets and goals

Content & Trend Research

• Support content creation and light video editing for client accounts as needed
• Research and monitor social media trends, formats, and platform shifts to keep client content fresh and competitive
• Bring trend insights back to internal creative and production teams to inform upcoming content

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with creative, design, production, and analytics teams to execute campaigns together, keeping everyone aligned on timelines and deliverables
• Serve as a central point of coordination across teams to ensure smooth handoffs from concept to production to posting

Strategy & Reporting

• Support the Director of Accounts in developing account strategy and identifying growth opportunities within existing client relationships
• Monitor account performance and contribute insights to ongoing strategy refinement
• Stay current on platform trends, creator economy shifts, and best practices in social and influencer marketing

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in account management, client services, or social media management, ideally at an agency
• Experience in or strong working knowledge of the golf industry, familiarity with the culture, key brands, and audience is essential given our client portfolio
• Experience managing creator/influencer partnerships and affiliate marketing programs
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and workflows at once
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable leading client meetings and managing relationships directly
• Working knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) and how content performs on each
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in video editing and content creation
• Comfortable researching and staying on top of emerging social media trends
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong ownership over client outcomes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment with shifting priorities

Nice to Have

• Experience with affiliate platforms/tools (e.g., LTK, ShareASale, Impact, or similar)
• Personal golf experience (playing, working in the industry, or being an active fan)
• Familiarity with content calendar and project management tools (Asana, Notion, Airtable, etc.)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio demonstrating content creation and campaign success.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and media editing tools for video editing and photo enhancement.
• Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research techniques, and digital marketing performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with social media platforms’ algorithms, advertising options, and analytics tools including Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
• Excellent content writing skills with an eye for proofreading to ensure high-quality messaging.
• Strong understanding of social listening tools like Hootsuite or Buffer for real-time engagement insights.
• Ability to analyze marketing data to assess campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements for ongoing social media content marketing efforts.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
