Solutions Consultant Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a solutions consultant in Missouri?
Most solutions consultant roles in Missouri require a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a closely related field. Missouri does not have a state-issued license specific to solutions consulting, so employers focus on product knowledge, consultative sales experience, and relevant certifications from vendors like Salesforce, AWS, or Microsoft. Candidates with experience in Missouri industries such as financial services, healthcare IT, or logistics move into the role most readily.
Which companies hire solutions consultants in Missouri?
Missouri solutions consultant roles are posted by CBIZ, Radar, and Guidehouse and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Missouri's concentration of financial services firms in St. Louis and healthcare technology companies in Kansas City makes those metros the most active hiring centers for the role.
Which Missouri cities have the most solutions consultant jobs?
St. Louis, Columbia, and Kansas City have the most solutions consultant openings in Missouri. St. Louis leads because of its dense cluster of financial technology, insurance, and enterprise software companies, while Kansas City draws significant hiring from healthcare IT and logistics firms, and Columbia benefits from the University of Missouri system and regional technology employers anchoring demand in the mid-state corridor.
Are there remote solutions consultant jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 67% of solutions consultant openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the role centers on video demos, virtual discovery calls, and web-based CRM work. The portions most likely to remain on-site are enterprise kickoffs and in-person executive presentations for key accounts.
How can I get hired as a solutions consultant in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting in a sales development or business development representative role at a Missouri technology or financial services company, then moving into solutions consulting once you have product and client exposure. Employers like Mastercard and Oracle Health in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas hire associate-level roles that feed into consulting tracks. Earning a Salesforce Administrator or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification before applying gives candidates without direct experience a concrete credential that Missouri hiring managers recognize.
Where can I find and apply to solutions consultant jobs in Missouri?
You can find and apply to solutions consultant jobs in Missouri on Migrate Mate, which lists current Missouri openings. Search the listings, find the roles that fit your background and target industry, and apply directly to the ones that match your experience.
