Solutions Consultant Jobs in Nebraska: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a solutions consultant in Nebraska?
Most solutions consultant roles in Nebraska require a bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or a closely related field. Nebraska does not issue a state-specific license for solutions consultants, so employers focus on relevant technical experience, product knowledge, and a track of successful client engagements. Certifications from vendors such as Salesforce, AWS, or Microsoft are widely recognized by Nebraska employers and give candidates a concrete edge during hiring.
Which companies hire solutions consultants in Nebraska?
Nebraska solutions consultant roles are posted by CVS Health, Mutual of Omaha, and Orion Advisor Technology and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nebraska's concentration of financial services headquarters and regional technology hubs makes Omaha a particularly consistent market for solutions consultant openings.
Which Nebraska cities have the most solutions consultant jobs?
Omaha, Nebraska, and Lincoln are the Nebraska cities with the most solutions consultant openings. Omaha dominates because it is home to major financial services firms, insurance companies, and technology employers whose enterprise sales cycles generate steady demand, while Lincoln's state government agencies and university-affiliated technology organizations contribute a smaller but reliable share of postings.
Are there remote solutions consultant jobs in Nebraska?
Yes, and more than many fields. About 71% of solutions consultant openings tied to Nebraska are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how naturally the role translates to video-based product demonstrations and virtual client engagements. Pre-sales discovery calls and platform walkthroughs are the parts of the role most consistently handled remotely, while on-site kickoffs or executive presentations may still require in-person travel.
How can I get hired as a solutions consultant in Nebraska with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a solutions consultant role from an adjacent position such as account manager, technical support specialist, or business analyst, all of which appear frequently at Nebraska employers like Fiserv, TD Ameritrade's Omaha operations, and West Corporation. Large Nebraska technology and financial firms often post associate pre-sales or sales development roles that expose candidates to discovery calls and product demonstrations without requiring prior solutions experience. Completing a vendor certification such as Salesforce Administrator or AWS Cloud Practitioner before applying signals technical readiness and is consistently valued by Nebraska hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to solutions consultant jobs in Nebraska?
You can find and apply to solutions consultant jobs in Nebraska on Migrate Mate, which lists current Nebraska openings updated on an ongoing basis. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your background and preferences, and apply directly to whichever positions fit.
