- Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies to promote ongoing improvement at home or in school settings.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for pediatric populations, early intervention programs, or geriatric patients requiring specialized support.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OTR), Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology including comprehensive speech and language evaluations and speech impairment interventions.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities across various age groups; familiarity with working with elderly patients is a plus.
- Proficiency in implementing speech-language therapy plans and conducting patient assessments using current clinical practices.
