- Work requires a complete understanding of axial anatomy, physiology, and physics of ultrasound, which
is normally acquired through completion of an approved program of Medical Radiologic Technology with
additional formal training in Ultrasonography. - Must be registered ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) OR ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists)
- Diagnostic Radiation Operator certification by the State of Indiana is preferred.
- Ultrasound certification is preferred.
- One year's experience in Ultrasonography is acceptable in lieu of formal training.
- In order to qualify for on-the-job training, 2 years hospital Staff Radiological Technologist experience is preferred.
