Job Summary
TJD Sports Academy and TD Elite Basketball are looking for a creative, organized, and reliable Social Media Coordinator to help grow our online presence and promote our programs, teams, and community events.
This position will manage social media content for both brands, with a focus on creating engaging content that highlights our coaches, athletes, programs, practices, games, tournaments, camps, and clinics.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys creating content, stays up to date with social media trends, and can work independently while coordinating with coaches and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage social media content for both TJD Sports Academy and TD Elite Basketball
- Create and post Reels, photos, Stories, and promotional content
- Attend selected programs, practices, games, and tournaments to capture photos and video
- Edit short-form videos and create engaging social media content
- Write captions and maintain separate content calendars for each brand
- Promote registrations, tryouts, camps, clinics, teams, and community programs
- Coordinate with coaches and staff to collect photos and videos
- Help maintain a consistent and engaging social media presence across platforms
- Track basic social media engagement, leads, and registration results
- Stay current with social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts or creating social media content
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Experience with Canva and short-form video editing preferred
- Creative eye for photography, video, and social media content
- Strong written communication skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple content calendars
- Reliable and comfortable attending selected programs, practices, games, and tournaments
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Interest in youth sports, basketball, fitness, or community programs is a plus
Schedule
This is a part-time position averaging 10–12 hours per week. Hours will vary based on content needs and selected programs, practices, games, and tournaments.
Some evening and weekend availability may be required depending on the schedule of events.
