- Conduct consistent, personalized outreach informed by relevant candidate research and market knowledge.
- Build centers-of-influence, educational, professional, advisor, employee, and community relationships that produce referrals.
- Conduct discovery conversations that uncover motivation, goals, experience, licensing status, business-development potential, coachability, resilience, and preliminary fit.
- Maintain long-term candidate relationships and provide a responsive, respectful, and professional candidate experience.
- Use the Agency Tracking System (ATS) to manage outreach, candidate motivations, stages, ownership, next steps, follow-up dates, source data, and pipeline reporting.
- Partner with Branch Leaders, training leaders, producing advisors, licensing and onboarding, Marketing, and Home Office recruiting resources.
- Represent Magnolia professionally in the market and communicate its culture, advisor opportunity, supported-independence model, and business resources accurately.
- Provide complete candidate information, coordinate timely handoffs, and follow applicable employment, privacy, licensing, compliance, and documentation requirements.

Talent Acquisition Associate Jobs in Louisiana: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent acquisition associate in Louisiana?
Most talent acquisition associate roles in Louisiana require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Louisiana does not issue a state license for this role, but earning the SHRM-CP or PHR credential from the Society for Human Resource Management or HRCI strengthens your candidacy significantly. Many Louisiana employers, particularly in healthcare and energy, prefer candidates who have completed an HR internship or held an administrative HR role before moving into recruiting.
Which companies hire talent acquisition associates in Louisiana?
Employers hiring talent acquisition associates in Louisiana right now include Sabre Industries, Zachry, and Ochsner Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Louisiana's large healthcare networks, petrochemical companies, and state university systems tend to post the most consistent openings year-round.
Which Louisiana cities have the most talent acquisition associate jobs?
Metairie, Bossier City, and Geismar have the most talent acquisition associate openings in Louisiana. New Orleans drives volume through its large hospital systems, hospitality groups, and financial services firms, while Baton Rouge reflects demand from state government agencies, LSU, and the petrochemical corridor along the Mississippi River, making both metros consistently active regardless of broader hiring cycles.
Are there remote talent acquisition associate jobs in Louisiana?
Yes, and more than most fields, since talent acquisition work is largely desk-based and conducted through digital tools, video interviews, and applicant tracking systems. About 0% of talent acquisition associate openings tied to Louisiana are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how widely the role adapted to distributed work. Sourcing, screening, and coordination tasks are the most frequently performed remotely, while onboarding and on-site interview facilitation more often require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a talent acquisition associate in Louisiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an HR coordinator or HR assistant role at a large Louisiana employer such as a major healthcare network, a state agency, or a university system, where you handle scheduling, onboarding paperwork, and ATS administration before moving into recruiting. Ochsner Health and Louisiana State University both run structured HR development programs that bring in new graduates. Earning the SHRM-CP or completing a SHRM student chapter while still in school adds a credential that offsets limited work history for Louisiana hiring managers reviewing early-career applications.
Where can I find and apply to talent acquisition associate jobs in Louisiana?
You can find and apply to talent acquisition associate jobs in Louisiana on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the state. Search the roles available, identify the ones that match your background and preferred location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
