Talent Acquisition Associate Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a talent acquisition associate in Pennsylvania?
Most Pennsylvania employers require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field as the starting point. Pennsylvania does not require a state-issued license to work in talent acquisition, but earning a credential like the Professional in Human Resources from HRCI or a SHRM Certified Professional designation makes candidates significantly more competitive. Many Pennsylvania employers, particularly in healthcare and financial services, also expect demonstrated experience with applicant tracking systems before hiring at the associate level.
Which companies hire talent acquisition associates in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania talent acquisition associate roles are posted by Aramark, Lutron Electronics, and Nyman Associates and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Pennsylvania's dense concentration of health systems, insurance carriers, and regional banks means consistent hiring volume for talent acquisition teams throughout the year.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most talent acquisition associate jobs?
Philadelphia, Bensalem, and Pittsburgh account for the largest share of talent acquisition associate openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia leads because of its headquarters-dense economy anchored by health systems, law firms, and financial institutions, while Pittsburgh's resurgent tech and healthcare sectors drive demand there, and mid-size markets like Allentown benefit from the significant distribution, manufacturing, and logistics employers concentrated in the Lehigh Valley.
Are there remote talent acquisition associate jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than most fields. Talent acquisition work is largely phone and video-based, which makes it well suited to remote arrangements. About 63% of talent acquisition associate openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how widely employers have adopted flexible work for recruiting roles. Sourcing, scheduling, and early-stage screening functions are the most consistently offered in fully remote formats.
How can I get hired as a talent acquisition associate in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an HR coordinator or recruiting coordinator role, which large Pennsylvania employers like UPMC, Penn Medicine, and Lincoln Financial Group post regularly and treat as a pipeline into talent acquisition. Internship programs at Philadelphia-area staffing agencies and HR departments at major Pennsylvania universities also provide direct exposure. A SHRM student membership, an entry-level HRCI certification, or documented experience managing any part of a hiring process, even informally, gives candidates a concrete edge when applying without prior recruiting titles.
Where can I find and apply to talent acquisition associate jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to talent acquisition associate jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated in real time. Search the roles that match your experience level and target location, then apply directly to the ones that fit your background.
