How do I get an entry level technical instructor job?
Focus on demonstrating that you can explain complex concepts clearly, even without years of classroom experience. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of corporate training departments, technical education providers, and companies building out internal enablement teams that welcome candidates early in their careers.
Are there remote entry level technical instructor jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and role type. About 0% of entry level technical instructor openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting demand for instructors who can deliver training effectively through virtual platforms. On-site roles remain common where hands-on equipment or lab-based instruction is part of the job.
Are these new grad technical instructor jobs?
Yes, many of these openings are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates with little or no formal work history. A new grad-friendly posting typically accepts zero to two years of experience, treats internships and academic projects as qualifying background, and values a strong portfolio or demonstration of teaching ability over an extensive resume.
