Job Title: Marketing Intern – Healthcare Technology SolutionsPosition Summary

The Marketing Intern will support the sales and marketing team by promoting the company's healthcare technology solutions to independent physician offices, specialty clinics, and ambulatory healthcare organizations throughout the United States. The intern will gain hands-on experience in healthcare technology, physician practice operations, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Practice Management Systems (PMS), Medical Billing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and patient engagement solutions.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual interested in pursuing a career in healthcare technology sales and marketing. The intern must be comfortable communicating with physician offices through telephone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital marketing channels to generate interest and schedule product demonstrations.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Knowledge Development

• Learn the company's Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform and Practice Management System.
• Understand the Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management process.
• Learn physician office workflows from patient registration through billing and payment collection.
• Gain knowledge of healthcare regulations affecting physician practices, including HIPAA awareness.
• Understand the benefits and competitive advantages of the company's healthcare technology solutions.
• Continuously improve product knowledge through training sessions and self-study.

Physician Office Marketing

• Market the company's healthcare software solutions to independent physician offices and medical groups.
• Introduce healthcare technology solutions using telephone outreach, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other professional networking platforms.
• Generate interest and identify qualified prospects.
• Schedule product demonstrations for the sales team.
• Build professional relationships with physicians, office managers, practice administrators, and billing managers.
• Explain product benefits clearly and professionally.
• Follow up consistently with prospective clients.

Outbound Marketing Activities

• Make outbound marketing calls to physician offices daily.
• Send personalized marketing emails to prospective clients.
• Execute email marketing campaigns.
• Conduct LinkedIn outreach to physicians and healthcare administrators.
• Support digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms.
• Promote webinars, educational events, and product demonstrations.
• Assist in developing marketing campaigns for healthcare professionals.

Lead Generation

• Research physician practices and identify prospective clients.
• Build and maintain accurate prospect databases.
• Qualify marketing leads based on company guidelines.
• Update CRM with all marketing activities and customer interactions.
• Track outreach results and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate follow-up activities with the sales team.

Market Research

• Research healthcare industry trends.
• Analyze competitors' products and marketing strategies.
• Identify new market opportunities within physician practices.
• Research physician specialties and practice demographics.
• Collect customer feedback to improve marketing strategies.

Content Marketing Support

• Assist in preparing marketing presentations.
• Support the creation of brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Help develop website and social media content.
• Assist with blog articles and educational healthcare content.
• Prepare marketing collateral for product launches and campaigns.

CRM and Reporting

• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
• Record all calls, emails, meetings, and follow-up activities.
• Prepare weekly marketing activity reports.
• Monitor lead conversion metrics.
• Assist in tracking campaign performance and marketing ROI.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success teams.
• Participate in product training sessions.
• Attend internal marketing meetings.
• Provide ideas to improve marketing campaigns and customer engagement.
• Support special marketing projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong interest in healthcare technology and digital marketing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Comfortable making outbound marketing and prospecting calls.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
